Raffaele Tognacca

Raffaele brings over 30 years of business experience to ANTARES’ work in energy and infrastructure, connecting technical understanding with commercial development. His background spans utility operations, energy trading and the development of power-generation businesses, informing how he approaches opportunities and the practical requirements behind them.

His career developed from leadership roles at AMB and Azienda Elettrica Ticinese to CEO of Axpo Italia, then known as EGL Italia. He subsequently served as CEO of ERG Power & Gas and ERG Renew. Working across utilities, trading and generation has given him experience of energy businesses from several perspectives: how markets develop, how projects become viable and how organisations turn strategy into operations.

Alongside his work at ANTARES, Raffaele leads TGS Engineers & Consultants in Brazil. His engineering education at ETH Zurich and subsequent studies in energy systems and energy marketing underpin a career connecting European energy markets with entrepreneurial and business-development activities in Latin America.
