Our name
Part of a larger picture
At the heart of Scorpius shines Antares, distinguished by its warm, reddish light. It has a character of its own, yet we recognise it within a larger constellation. That relationship gives our name its meaning.
A constellation takes shape when we connect its points. Human endeavour is much the same: one person can see a possibility, but bringing it to life draws on the knowledge, effort and imagination of others. Together, we can reach further.
For ANTARES, that is an ambition worth carrying in our name: to retain our own character while contributing to something larger. To look beyond what we gain to what we make possible for the people alongside us and those who come after.
